Welcome to the official website for the Summer Village of Sunset Point!
We are honored to serve as your newly elected Council. As your Mayor, I’m Lee Landsperg, and I’m joined by Deputy Mayor Rodney Janz and Councillor Gwen Jones. We look forward to continuing the work of our previous Council to ensure the ongoing engagement and well-being of our residents.

Committees and Boards We Serve On
In the spirit of transparency and communication, we want to let you know about the various committees and boards we serve on to support our community.
View committees and board participation
- All Council members attend meetings for the Summer Village of Lac Ste. Anne County East and the Emergency Management Agency.
- Deputy Mayor Rodney Janz and Councillor Gwen Jones (who serves as director) are part of the Tri-Village Sewer Commission.
- Deputy Mayor Janz also serves on the Lake Isle Lac Ste. Anne Stewardship Society (LILSA).
- Councillor Jones is on the Alberta Beach Municipal Library Board.
- Mayor Landsperg is a member of Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and the West Inter Lake District Water Commission (WILD Water).
